I hardly know where to begin. I live a very full life.
Most notable and paradoxical, I suppose, to my mission on this planet is a mystical experience I had while in my early thirties, combined with 22 years of experience as a practicing lawyer. For years my challenge has been: how does one use analytic, divisive language to communicate a unifying, wholistic experience?
The spiritual reason I went to law school was to learn to use words as clearly as possible and ask the right questions to get the right answers. I am always focused, in the moment, on the meanings of words, mine and those of others to whom I relate. What do our words mean in the context of our individual, unique experiences? Can we communicate more clearly with one another and bring harmony into our relationships?
My overall arching vision is to create powerful peace on the planet, one person at a time through consciousness-shifting. That, of course, is another paradox. A woman with the last name Warfield is focused on creating powerful peace. Amusing.
After struggling with words for years within the context of the mystical experience and trying to figure out how to use them with the greatest clarity and impact, I figured I better get some of them down on paper. Two years ago, I wrote a book, "Shift: Change Your Words, Change Your World." I knew the words weren't perfect, but they were the best I could do. I had to get something out there. Otherwise, the unique understanding I have would die with my physical body.
When I receive feedback on how "Shift" has affected its readers, I am so glad I put it out there. If you're interested, you can read reviews on Amazon or check out my website, http://wordsculptures.com. "Shift" received the 2008 Next Generation Indie Book Award for Best New Age Non-Fiction. It recently became an Amazon Best Seller in the Health/Mind/Body -- Self-Help -- Personal Transformation category.
