Hey y'all ... I guess its about time I filled this little thingie in ... now that I am bored enough and have the time :P *giggle*
My name is Ashley, and I am from a small town in Ontario Canada. I have a giant family that annoys me most of the time and ignores me the rest :P *giggle*. I love animals and current have only 2 pets, a cat (Jewel) and a dog (PD ... but I call gim Peter). I used to have a turtle and almost got to keep my puppy ... but mom wouldn't let me. I have 3 siblings and we share a house with my grandparents. I am starting college in the fall ... which i am actually kinda stocked about XD *giggle* ... anyways enough about that ... time to talk books movies and music XD
I am in love with manga (japanese comic books) ... well at least what manga I have read ... which is growing more and more every day ... thanks to my lovely bestest friend whom I call Onee-chan ... cause she is practically a sister to me anyway XD ... my favs include FMA, OHSHC, Fruits Basket, Vampire Knight, Inuyasha, Bleach, Black Cat, Gimmick, Tsubasa, xxxHolic, Chobits, Gentlemen's Alliance, Trinity Blood, Godchild, After School Nightmare, Lagoon Engine, Hot Gimmick, Hana Kimi, Phantom, Yurara, and lots and lots more ... I probably forgot one which i will ick myself for later ... but oh well ... on to normal books ... I LOVE HARRY POTTER ... Severus Snape is my god .. not really but I am totally in love with that man ... so other then Harry Potter ... I enjoy the Inheritance series, His Majesty's Dradon and its series, Lord of the Rings, Earth's Children series, anything by Barbara Delinsky, the Wicked series, prety much anything by Mary Higgins Clark, His Dark Materials series, anything by Dan Brown, I used to like Twilight but all the hype and over exporsure to it has dulled it I might go back and read it again but i doubt it, I have just started reading a new series Kingmaker, Kingbreaker, I am half way through the first book and it is rather interesting, i think i might have another fav author soon XD ... anyway I love lots more books then that ... and again I probably missed one and will kick myself later ... but hey, thats what edit is for :P *giggle*
Now for movies ... Harry Potter of course, Lord of the Rings, anything with Hugh Jackman, anything with Alan Rickman, anything with Johnny Depp, the Bourne Trilogy, Peter Pan (with Jason Isaac), Sahara, Princess Bride, Bondock Saints, Dogma, Inkheart (stil need to read those books ... hmmm), Dark Knight, Die Hard (all of them), Robots, and lots lots more ... I also love anime (the cartoon version of manga), pretty much all the manga I listed above if it has an anime released, Cowboy Beebop, Saiyuki (which I forgot above), and a bunch more movies like Howl's moving Castle, Spirited Away, all them sorts
Music ... my taste can only be described as bipolar ... the shuffle on my iPod is hilarious ... I go from a happy song from an anime soundtrack to the amazing screamingness of Maximum the Hormone or Disturbed ... I listen to lots of different things ... about a year ago I was into country, now I like metal and screaming ... this is mostly thanks to onee-chan's influence of japanese music ... my fav bands are Vic Mignogna, Maximum the Hormone, Disturbed, Marianas Trench, Crew, Nickleback, Orange Range, High and Mighty Colour, Michael Jackson, Tim McGraw, Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, and a few others ... see what I mean ... so random, I love it XD *giggle*
So I think that about covers it all ... except I forgot to mention my strange obsesion with ducks XD ... I love them so much ... I think they are just the coolest things ever ... I was fortunate enough to be able to incubate and hatch some mallard duck eggs ... I was able to hatch 4 out of 7 ... and though I haven't seen them in forever I love them dearly and can't wait till they are fully grown so I can set them loose in the world XD
