I read Love in the Time of Cholera. We must compare notes when you are finished.
Yowza! Grapes of Wrath! Wooo hooo!
Just read Matchless-only took about half an hour. It was very good, but now I have to read the original story to figure out how much was really Maguire. I'm very curious.
I haven't read either. I've never really wanted to read them, I just always felt that I should read them. Does this make sense? Anyway-there aren't any elves or fairies in them so I probably won't pick them up. :) Jk.
I just started a series that I'm sure will occupy my time for the next few weeks. But I will definitely pick up Matchless soon. I really hope you like Oryx as much as I did!
Oh for sure, Sanchez is rockin it. Miami had a rough start...but they're looking much better.
Ha-I bought Outlander a couple of weeks ago! I was curious to start that series-but.....A woman came in about a week ago wanting the new book and I told her I was going to start the series very soon. She then felt she needed to share that the best sex scenes she has ever read are in those books and she reads them with her husband to spice up their night life--can you say, "EEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWW!" Why did she have to share that?? I was a bit grossed out. I have to wait awhile now to start them.
so 3 words for you....henne, sanchez, and williams....did you watch that game?!?! Intense for 2 quarterback rookies
ha, yeah...i like it so far, but i had to stop to start fire.
Brittney-I have tried calling you for days! Please, please, PLEASE read Oryx and Crake! I have to speak with someone who has read it! Your brother might like it too! I had the same sort of reaction when finished that I had with Wicked. Read it! And I miss ya!
Did When You are Engulfed in Flames live up to David Sedaris' amazingness?
Hey chickadeeHope that everything is going well with you. Read the Dexter series as as well as the series by Chelsie Cain if you are hunkering about reading about serial killers
you didn't like 'played with fire' as much as 'dragon tattoo'?? are you crazy?? miss you.
Hate to say this because I love Lewis Black, but Me of Little Faith, not so funny. Kinda on the boring side.
I was right!! And the last couple of pages really pissed me off!
Yes!! Weird..
You should check out Graceling by Kristin Cashore-its YA also. Its not as good as The Hunger Games, but it has another kick-ass heroine. Jean and Tammy really liked it too.
I know what you mean! I'm all about Peeta-he gets her through the tough times because he was there with her.
I knew you would love it!! Keep going-it gets better! The Peeta/Gale thing is pretty exciting, but there is so much more to it!!
It did not. I just had a chance to read it last night. I haven't had a chance to reply. We leave for Hawaii on the 29th.
