More of Seth Godin's take on the role of the individual in business life -- part of his larger manifesto for creating your own destiny regardless of what "the system" provides as a path of least resistance.

Excellent slant on an old scifi idea -- robots taking over the world. Fun.

Excellent approach to thinking about retirement and viewing it as an opportunity for personal reinvention and self-actualization. The author recommends retiring as soon as possible and embracing life as an adventure of self-discovery. I have added this to my newyouvate bookshelf.

Compelling characters. Good story. Set in an imaginary America distorted by snide liberal political stereotypes. Disappointing, but illuminating of the disconnect between the literary elite and actual American life. I get the feeling Franzen deeply dislikes America.

Fun. I like Pike, the main character, but he never changes. In this book, everything hinges on Pike's feelings for a woman he barely knows. It doesn't compute.
