I'm more of a crime novel reader myself...have gotten up to 400 pages, but it's been a slog. Thanks for your advice!
Hi Maggie!I just now read your post from a few months ago!! I have read the Uglies...not the rest in the series. I wasn't crazy about it. The kids really like them! I have only read the first in the Shadow Children series as well (Among the Hidden). I loved it. I have so many books to keep up with, that I usually only read the first one or two to get a feel for the series...except for Twilight!! Did you read those???
