Hi Amber, I noticed you're planning to read a couple of books I've read recently: Gambling with the Enemy and Riders Down. Let me know what you think of them! By the way, if you need more titles to put on your shelf, check out the others I've read recently. I LOVED Ginger Kathrens' Cloud: Challenge of the Stallions book.

I know this is a bit late, but hi there! I'm just dropping by to welcome you to The 100+ Book Challenge. The idea of the group is pretty much self explanatory - try to read 100 or more books in a one year period. If you do have any questions, please feel free to send a message to me or Tenia. In the meantime, good luck reaching your goal!

    Hi Amber,
I don't blame you for hating winter. That explains the indoor arena in the picture :-)
I created a tag called Horses - Adult if you are interested in searching for adult horse related books.

I would go just to meet you and the horses and maybe watch you work your horse. I'll sure let you know when I'm planning to be in Ohio...I usually go sometime in the summer, July or August. Wouldn't that be exciting?? I'm thrilled just thinking about it. Now I have to work on convincing my mother to make this side trip...

Hartville?? Where they hold the big flea market? I've been there! My mother and sister and I go there for something to do while I'm visiting (I try to go once a year). Is your place anywhere near the flea market? I had the best idea...wouldn't it be awesome to meet in person next time I'm in Ohio? I'd love to come visit your barn! I'd beg for a lesson time, but don't think my family would be okay with that. This is just too exciting!

Yes, I've heard of Canton! Can't remember if I've ever been there. Anyway, that's exciting news about your dog! I see you ride Western (I ride English). I've ridden an Arabian gelding named Sarajevo. He has a lot of energy for an old guy! What do you mean by "working with" Arabians? Do you train them?

Hi Amber, nice to meet you. What part of Ohio do you live in? I come from Brook Park, which is one of the suburbs just outside the edge of Cleveland. I went to Bowling Green State University, which is in Toledo. I don't live in Ohio anymore, but still have family and friends there.

I think it's interesting that your dog competes in agility trials. I love watching those. What's your dog's name, and has he ever won anything?

Hey, I just skimmed through your many books, and we seem to have a similar taste. Plus, you have Arabians, and I have a half-arabian rescue horse, so I thought you just HAD to be interesting based on these oh-so-specific characteristics. haha
