Tess M

I have not yet found that delicate balance between reading quickly so as to read more books, and reading each book slowly and repeatedly so as to have the full experience that it offers. The multitude of books I have not yet read is both overwhelming and thrilling. But it finally dawned on me that I will not catch up.

    Tess my friend,

Yes! And thanx soooo much for trying us out. I, me, you, we two, have a lot in common concerning religion....I know not much about it! So, you see, don't feel obligated, but know that we all can learn from each other. Thanx again for understanding. Ok, I
will be seeing you in the forum....Just whatever you have to say....say it!

    Thanks Tess for replying,

You are correct on both counts.
Exactly my opinion too at both places.
    Learning process never ends.
About book it is ending that matters; but sometimes you have a taste for language and if the language is good then you keep enjoying each sentence, each phrase and sometimes each word and dialogues.
I will read this book as soon as I get one.
My regards to you and thanks for replying patiently.

Here's what I do. I keep a book on the bathtub, one in the car, one in the kitchen, one by my chair in my living room, and a few by my nightstand, all of which are worthy. This way, I never miss an opportunity. Though I admit, at times it seems I've turned my back on the world.

There is a very easy and

quick soluion to the dilemma....Both it depends on your belief in GOD! First, the scripturre that says: "Acknowledge the Lord your GOD in all of your ways....I repeat, "Acknowlegde the Lord your GOD in All of your ways....Even in the smiplest, minute, or the
ones you think you shoudn't bother Him with....Like "GOD, will you please teach me how to read and find the Balance between
reading quickly, so I can increase my reading production?

Now if you do so, and believe it....It's becomes a forever settled subject! As for the other situation,Remember, any book, that someone puts the time, and the effort to write....is automatically, catapulted into the realm of "Worthy of the Time and....
the Effort!" Keeping that in mind....perhaps the words that I shared will help in the solution of the things inwhich you requested Help!

In Conclusion thanx for the friendship....I see that we indeed have a lot of books in common. For I have books that you have read....that I have yet to include on my shelf! But I will will get around to doing so in the next few days or so. Therefore, I
am so looking forward to chatting with you concerning the books we have in common. Again, thanx for the befriending, and
know that you have a friend in Baltimore.

    Thanx again

    JASS!

    Hi!
Thanks a lot for writing your opinion about the book. To be honest, i'm very curious about the novel, because i've read, heard so many opinions about it..
I think i'll listen to your adivce and read it later, after a few years.
Anyway, i will read some books that really interest me right now, and later, when i'll feel "prepared" intelectually i'll read "Life of Pi" too.

So thanks again for telling me your opinion. I really appreciate it.
    Hugs.
