I'm definitely going to have to read The Graceling. Especially after you were saying how much you loved it...! AND YOU NEED TO READ THE WEIGHT OF SILENCE. I need to talk about it with someone and I don't know anyone who has read it.
Haven't had time to update! Perhaps this weekend. I didn't notice on your shelf...is it there?
Here's one for you! IF you haven't already read it, check out "Shelf Awareness" by Lizzie Skurnick. I felt like rereading some of my old favorites. I think it would be a good thing for a future MLS person.
Look at my "I've Read" section
Hi, Finished "Mudbound". That gets 4 stars from me! Have also read "The Reliable Wife"---Very different, very well written, kind of psychological and strange, but I recommend it.Yes, we should all meet. I liked Brown's B. Co. or another idea might be Mocha Blend and use their back room. Plum Blossom is easy for everybody too---. I'm open, My eye was done yesterday so this is probably riddled with mistakes. Gretchen
Looking forward to some awesome recommendations!
Did you see that I added a shelf account for Jude? I figured he could start now...
Any thoughts on "The Help"?
I know right! I always love looking at your shelf for ideas!
I too, love Esme. Maybe I'll buy that as a gift for the Florida folks on your recommendation.
I'm actually adding stuff now... Can you believe it?
Yikes! I'll be in the Adirondacks for Ellene's party, but I want to see her beforehand anyway. I heard about Jyna-and you'll be great in Adult Services. I'm reading Dewey. It was interesting to know that that library has a collection of CAKE PANS in all shapes and sizes and checks them out! Is Troy having the museum passes this year??? I'll call there..... Yes, I did love the Graveyard B.
Carolyn-Finished "Guernsay" in Florida this weekend and "Losing Mum and Pup" by Chirs Buckeley...liked them both alot. Have you heard of "Little Bee"...just ordered at TPL...Alexa's friend Sara A. said it is one of her favs.
Hi, How is everything with you???? I was on a binge last week, but books of course, not booze. I finally read The Graveyard Book and The Blue Cotton Gown.I'm still waiting to get my hands on A Reliable Wife tho. I hope Sam's graduation was a splendid one and congratulations to her for working hard for 4 years!
I really enjoyed Sarah's Key. Quick read with characters you instantly care about.Ale House tonight? We can discuss starting our AH book club. Mary picks first book!
Hello CarolynI am new to Shelfari...came to you by looking in on people who have the same taste I do.I see you read The Guernsey Liternary Pot... how did you find it?
Cool owl! I am WAY impressed. I see now that you are also going to be charge of "craft class" at the mobile home parks.
When I received your message I vowed to add 10 books to my self. Did it! Thank you for commenting on my photo, my son Ben took it. You made that owl?
