I've read books from just about every genre with mysteries, thrillers and fantasy being favorites. For the past few years, however, I've mainly been reading romance, which gives me all the genres, settings and time periods I could wish for combined with a HEA.

    Alles goed? We hebben elkaar al zolang niet meer gesproken! Hier in Nederland is het behoorlijk slecht weer. Brrr, het lijkt wel herfst. Voordeel: ik heb nu vakantie, dus het weer is perfect voor een combinatie van boek+thee+bank. Yummie. Ik heb gister The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie van Alan Bradley uitgelezen. Wat een goed boek! Het leest als een trein en het verhaal is pakkend. Bovendien is de heldin van het verhaal, de 11jarige Flavia echt een schatje. (Mag je dat zeggen van een boekpersonage, ik vind van wel!) Ik las dat hij al op je leeslijst staat dus ik zou zeggen: LEZEN! =)

    Ik heb inmiddels Ecstasy Unveiled uit en het is een geweldig boek, net als de 3 voorgaande boeken. Ik zou het aanraden om deze zo snel mogelijk aan te schaffen en te lezen. Demon Lore is een geweldige karakter, ook al moet hij in het begin niets van zijn halfbroers weten.

    Hi Marcella - thanks for the note. I've had a number of people now suggest I try out the Silmarillion - I loved LOTR. Now, I can forgive 'forgetting' to put Brooks on your shelf, but the Ring trilogy? For shame! :) I have many more to add to my shelf, but they're still packed from our recent move.     well i just finished captivated & entranced and it was excellent. i cant wait to get book #2. im planning on starting darkfever whenever i get the other books in the series. i never like to start a series and then begin a new book without finishing it. its a habit of mine :P HAPPY READING!
