    yes, I love jr ward and i think the bdb series would be my first choice. you will absolutely love them. i promise. youll start reading them and youll never be able to put them down. I know i couldnt. the first ones the best in my opinion. but you will just have to find out.

    wow. You really like nora roberts. haha I just started reading Tribute and so far so good. or great I guess I should say. well, so far I really like the circle trilogy, the divine evil, northern lights, and Im going to start the In the garden trilogy as soon as I finish this book. I guess its not as long as yours but hey, Im getting there. I just finished the midnight breeds series. they are awesome. You need to read them when you get a chance. and the black dagger botherhood series. their my favorite.

    Hahaha, nee je zou het eigenlijk niet mogen zeggen, maar je hebt wel gelijk. De nederlandse vertaling komt soms niet overeen met de originele versie. Je mist vooral de humour, grappen en uitdrukkingen die je gewoon niet kan vertalen.
    Maar je het inderdaad wel een top baan, je kan lekker met boeken bezig zijn, dat is helemaal niet verkeerd. Ik wou dat ik daarvoor gekozen had...lol...

    Ja, ik ga inderdaad binnenkort naar de VS, samen met een vriendin heb ik besloten om eens een keer de RT convention mee te maken. Ik hoop niet dat dit al te goed bevalt, anders zou ik wel eens vaker willen gaan...hahaha...Maar goed, ik kijk er erg naar uit om heel wat schrijfsters te ontmoeten. En uiteraard een hoop meiden van Shelfari gaan ook, dus het is ook een bijeenkomst van vriendinnen.

    Hi Marcella, wat leuk om andere Nederlandse hier op Shelfari tegen te komen. Ik lees dat je momenteel in Denemarken woont...erg leuk, ik ben er nog nooit geweest, maar het schijnt er mooi te zijn.

    Het is waar, ik ben begonnen met lezen in het Nederlands, maar de laatste jaren wordt er weinig vertaald en aangezien ik de Engelse taal goed beheerst, waarom dan niet in het Engels lezen...nou dan gaat er een wereld voor je open...lol...

    Je hebt gelijk, dit is een geweldige site. Ik heb hier al een hoop inspiratie opgedaan en een stel geweldige vriendinnen leren kennen.

    Meid, ik hoop je snel weer te spreken...(in welke taal dan ook....lol...)

    Ik ken Felix Thijssen wel, maar de boeken van Rob Staalman niet. Ik denk dat ik toch eens bij mijn vader in de boekenkast moet kijken. Daar vond ik laatst ook het een en ander over Pim Pandoer. Is ook leuk trouwens.
    Shelfari is heel lastig. Mijn Wishlist blijft maar groeien. Voor ieder boek wat ik van die lijst vind en lees, komen er zeker 5 terug. Het is gewoon niet eerlijk ^_^.

    Eh... ik vond het wel erg chick lit, maar dat kan bij mij al snel, want ik lees dit soort boeken eigenlijk niet. Ik zag al die romantische boeken bij jou op de plank staan, dus ik dacht: dat vind je misschien wel een leuk boek. Het is grappig geschreven en de compinatie met fantasy was erg leuk. Of hij op kan tegen Bob Evers... tja, dat durf ik je natuurlijk niet te zeggen... Wat kan er op tegen Bob zeg!

    Wauw, je hebt alle Bob Evers boeken op je plank staan! Ik moet ze nodig weer eens herlezen. Het is al zo lang geleden dat ik niet eens meer goed weet welke ik nou wel of niet gelezen heb. In ieder geval kan ik ze dan mooi bij jou van de plank pikken! Een leuke leestip is misschien de serie van Shanna Swendson. Zij heeft chick lit en fantasy gecombineerd. Het eerste deel Enchanted, Inc vond ik superleuk.

    Wat leuk! Ik vind altijd superstoer als je de stap durft te nemen om naar een ander land te emigreren om daar een nieuw leven op te bouwen. Ik zal aan je denken als ik ooit nog naar Denemarken op vakantie ga. Het staat in mijn lijstje, maar of ik er ooit aan toe kom. Ik hoop het. Waar zit je ongeveer ten opzichte van Kopenhagen?

    Haha, dat denkt iedereen, dat je lekker kunt lezen als je in een boekwinkel werkt. Dat is echt niet zo, helaas. Het is veel te druk bij ons om te lezen. Een achterkantje van een nieuw boek kan hooguit, maar je hoort mij niet klagen hoor. Het is harstikke leuk om mensen te motiveren boeken te lezen. Thuis lees ik wel heel veel. Dat betreft heb ik echt een hele vervelende baan: altijd boeken om je heen, recht op gratis leesexemplaren van de nieuwste boeken en ontmoetingen met interessante mensen. Je kunt het erger treffen ;o)

    Ik vond Vrouwe van Llyn een prachtig boek, hoewel ik eigenlijk niet eens zo heel veel van dat genre houd, al maakt het tijdreizen en de historische feiten weer een hoop goed. Je hebt wel een heel bijzondere manier om boeken bij tags onder te brengen... ik snap er niks van ;o)
    Wat heeft jou in Denemarken gebracht?
