Barbara hi, thank you for the friending, I'm looking forward to reading your comments and recommendations...
Hi Barb! So far, I love "A Good Dog", but have not finished it as of yet. I have learned how to train and work Border Collies and other stock dogs and I may have told you that, but I can really relate to it. I may not have come to the sad part yet. Uh-oh. I am also enjoying Dragonfly. The Author's style really keeps you interested. Some parts, like some of the brutality, I have a hard time with and have to set it aside, but I do like the series. Hope you are having a good summer!! :)
Thanks for responding. Dan Millman's books really had an impact on me at a particular time in my life, as well as Richard Bach's also did. Sometimes I think we are drawn to what it is we need to hear or be taught at a particular time in our lives. But then each book has value and that is why I love to readingso many different areas. I have to admit, it took me a little while to get into Outlander, as I was having a little trouble with the dialect, but I am really enjoying it now. Thanks for the referral. Hope you have a great weekend!!
You have read some fabulous books. Such a wonderful world in books, huh? Makes more sense to me than a lot of other things that people spend their time doing. Oops, did I sound bad???
How do I get to Justin's books. I am reading quite a lot in the natural history area in the last 4 years. I have gone out on the annual Christmas bird count twice this year. That was a great opportunity to bird with some real experts.
