Hi this is Sofia talking. Or writing.

I've a huge passion for books, believe it or not, and I've just started to get into the classics and a few other books, which I am ashamed of reading. Hmm, Twilight for example.

Well anyways, I write a lot too, and I get inspiration from books. I really, really enjoy books what are very... more »

Being a huge fan of Kelley's Darkest Powers series I dove into this with high expectations. It was every bit as amazing as I thought and hoped it would be.

The thing with this book, which many YA books lack these days, is that the characters felt mature. They did feel older than they were, which was a plus. Could it be that Kelley writes more adult than YA? Anyway, I am beyond pleased. Every character is interesting and fleshed out, not just excisting as the "funky, witty BFF" or the "bitchy, totally gorgeous Queen Bee" who only excist to make the narrator look better. There's an actual story around them, why they act the way they do. Yet there's a ton of room for further explanation in future books. Refreshing!

The story itself is a mystery. Anyone who read Darkest Powers know about the Edison group and the subjects which means we are all one step ahead of Maya and her friends - yet there is so much we don't know! I for one adore a good mystery which is what this is. Yes, it does move slowly at times but that only adds to the build-up.

The love story is believeable, and while I do not like Rafe that much, I did like Daniel. Maybe this won't turn into a love triangle but I honestly hope it does, because the characters are all so wonderful. And Daniel? Sa-wooon. I thought I saw some hints that he and Maya might become something more than just friends (like when they were trapped in the closet - oh my, can you say sexual tension!) but you never know.

Anyhow a good, solid, exciting read. I cannot wait for the next one!

As a Sookie/Eric fan I found this book fantastic. There is great S/E interaction and one scene can only be described as "hottest of the hottest". There are also very romantic and tender moments between the two of them; something I really liked. It felt very real.

This book starts with the Weres "coming out". There's a murder, there's some FotS action but mostly the book centers around the fairies and Niall. It answers many questions and the book ends with a cliffhanger. Go figure.

It was a great read though; one of my favorites in the series.

It was great, really. I really enjoyed CoB but this one got me even more hooked. You get to know the characters better and it is better written.

Even though I desperately want Clary & Jace together I found myself enjoying the moments with them that we got; struggling and wanting what the can't have.

It's an easy, nice read and for me a way to improve my english. I really recomend it.
