I had a few issues with Ecstasy. But I definately was turned off by Ashla's submissivness after reading about all of the abuse she endured. I think it was unnecessary to make being a sub appeal to her. It didn't contribute to the story and was uncomfortable after reading what her mother and brothers did to her.And, oh yeah....THANKS FOR MY GOODIES!!! Oh my gosh, I had no idea you were sending me all that stuff!! I was really excited to get the Stella and Audra Price books because I haven't had a chance to read anything from them yet!!Andy my 4 year old had fun with the wax lips and fangs and the skull ring. :)

You are so right, her books are definately full of atmosphere. Hiding from the light was really scary too. My top three from her though are Lady of Hay, kingdom of Shadows and Child Of The Phoenix. You have to read them in this order as some of the same characters tend to pop up in all three books. If the ones you have ordered from Amazon are any of these three, you are in for a treat. If not try your local library. Please let me know how you get on.

Hi Ann, you most welcome! It's so refreshing to see someone else who has read Barbara Erskine. She's my favourite author and I discovered her back in 1989 when I read Kingdom of Shadows. Since then I've been hooked and some of them have scared the hell out of me i.e. House Of Echoes and Midnight is a Lonely Place. Whats your favourite book by her and what do you think of her other books? Which one made the most impression? I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Oh I wish, we wanted to go for our 25th, but had Santino instead....somehow it's not quite the same ;). Wouldn't trade that little devil for anything though. The kid's got some brass ones even at 5. Hopefully within the next couple of yrs.
