I haven't read Delirium yet, but I plan to. It's set to be a trilogy. Book 2: Pandemonium comes out Feb. 2012, and book 3: Requiem Feb. 2013. I have read KMM's Fever series and even though it started out a little slow for me, I ended up absolutely loving it!! :)

Glad to have you back Pat!! I do understand that there are a lot of series to sort through, but we have no way to change the order of the discussion made. You can however search for the discussions using "Shortcuts to Series Discussion" thread which I have just updated to appear in alphabetical order! You can also use the search feature at the top of the page "search discussions". There are instructions on how to use it located in the "Shortcuts to Series Discussions" thread. I also use the drop down menu to show "recent activity" which keeps all the discussions that have current postings displayed on top! Hope that helps a little and please feel free to ask me any questions or offer more suggestions! Thanks ~ Tish

I too love cats, I am currently hand feeding a B & W kitten, I have named him Cadbury. I have a tiger named Louie he is a Katrina orphan, a maine coon cat and an calico female who was abandoned at my vet. So I have a houseful. Our taste in books is very simular. The Outlander series has triggered me to go to Scotland this September.

That's great that you got a grant. We run one at work, but I don't go, I would be terrible at having to read the chosen book, tend to go off on tangents in my reading and if i didn't like it i wouldn't read it, so i think i would be the rubbish member of a book group: )

Hi Pat, have you tried Dana Stabenow, Alaskan crime. Decided to get the first for my kindle, haven't read it yet, but the series gets good reviews.

Let me know what the new Jonathan Kellerman is like, have been contemplating it. Thanks

Hi Pat thought I'd let you know I spotted Linda Fairstein on your shelf so am giving her a go and am loving it. Have jumped in at number 3 Cold Hit and got to admit she is really a great writer, about half way through and am wondering how I haven't read her before. Glad I spotted her on your shelf: )

Hi Pat you might want to check out the Inspector Ghote series by HRF Keating, cozy classic crime (first written in the 60's) set in Bombay, fun crime detection with a little twist. Say hi to Callie from me and my 4 friends : )

Yes, and we enjoy how the personalities mesh and yes, sometimes clash!! Our oldest boy doesn't like cats; doesn't like people; besides the 2 of us. His half brother is 98% feral even tho he has always been indoors. Then their "cousin" is an absolute angel!! He is the peacekeeper. Then there is the baby in my currnet pic. He is a love; just not "all there"...We joke that he tries to think but nothing happens!! Then we have the Grand Dame and the babies. They keep us on our toes and VERY entertained!! Like you, I am thankful and believe they were brought to us for a reason. Every one is a rescue of some sort....

Well she is absolutely gorgeous! My 3 older boys like to sleep with me at night. We moved up to queen size bed and sometimes that's not big enough!! My little orange tabby likes to sleep in my lap when I read.
