    Hi, I was invited to join the Amazon vine programme over a year ago. I get an online newsletter the third Thursday of each month and from that I can choose two items. These are usually books but occasionally there may be other types of products. All I have to do is read them (use them) and then post my review. A week later I can choose a further 2 items.

    It has been a brilliant programme to be part of because I get to read all of the new books including those from first time authors and I read books that I wouldn't otherwise choose. I thoroughly enjoy being part of the programme but I am not sure how you can get yourself on it. Mine is through Amazon UK so perhaps you could contact Amazon US and see if they do something similar?

    Hi Pat, I havent been on Shelfari for some time so sorry for not getting back to you. How about trying some holistic therapies to calm her down at night. I find that Rescue Remedy works really well with all of my animals and you could try mixing some lavendar oil with a little water and either spraying it onto her coat or put some in your hand and stroke her with it - you dont need much. Time will calm her down alot, but let me know how you get on with the things I have suggested. Good luck xx

    I just finished- The Bodies Left Behind, by Jefferey Deaver. One of my favorite authors. It was really good. I haven't read the Outlander series yet...I plan to, are they good? I love the J.D. Robb books and all of the others that you have mentioned. Tooo many good books and not enough time. LOL. You will have to forgive my typing, i try to go too fast and usually have a lot of typos and misspellings.. i look forward to hearing about any new authors that you find and enjoy...always looking for a really good read. I've already added some new ones from your shelf to mine. This site is great. Crystal.

I havn't finished my shelf yet because I have read so many books I'ts taking forever and I'm having a hard time remembering all of them. I have read all of the JD Robb books and most of the Nora Roberts. I also live in the NE, sounds like we have a lot in common. Crystal

    I loved Pay Back! I want to get the other books in the sisterhood series. Not only do I think I will like them but I can share them with my mom. She's in a nursing home and doesn't have room to store books so my oldest sister and I try to supply her with reading material and I rotate it for her. I keep the books on our bookshelves and take her a dozen or so at a time. I'm just grateful she still wants to read and is able to do so.

    I haven't read A Breath of Snow and Ashes yet. It was The Fiery Cross that I finished recently and I loved it. I'm looking forward to A Breath of Snow and Ashes and the new one.

    Actually, I'll read anything, whatever I feel in the mood for at the time. Fiction, as long as it's good. But mostly I read a lot of books on music, and on musicians, and about groups. History is a big thing that I enjoy. I am a Historian. I know an awful lot about it, history. Americn, European, African....It's my thing, it's what I do! But yes, lets keep in contct, I will be dropping in from time to time, just to
    see what's going on in that brain of yours. Kinda like, what movie is being created in your mind, as you read.
