As a high school librarian, I read all sorts of YA books to recommend to my patrons. I enjoy dark fantasy and paranormal, as well as romance. Occasionally I'll read realistic fiction but nothing too melodramatic, please! I like my realism with a good sense of humor and maybe some suspense.

    I think you will really enjoy Hunger Games. The sequel is just as good! I read it in one sitting. Once I started, I couldn't stop.
