Hi, Kevin. Thanks for writing back. Yes, I'm a big Dennis Lehane fan. One of my editors turned me on to him years ago. You know, when your editor calls and says you have read this guy because he is so good. . . you do it. LOL!And talking about coincidences, I'm from South Florida, I know Barbara Parker, and several years ago I met another woman who was in the same MFA class with Lehane -- though I can't remember her name. Small world though. Getting back to Lehane's work, Mystic River is not my favorite of his books. I prefer Shutter Island and his early series. The only problem I have with his work is that he has a very grim view of the universe, and I can only take so much of that at a time. Is he like that in person?Anyway, it was nice hearing from you. I'm still adding books to my shelf, so maybe there will be other common books. Pat
