    Hi, Alison! I hope you'll still join Facebook. It took me a while to convince my sister, but she's having a great time with it. I think you would, too. And it doesn't require a big investment of time to get started. That said, this is a cool thing.

    Good news: my proposal for the conference in Madison was accepted! The conference is April 3-4. Will you guys be around? Would it be a good time for me to convince Frank we should make a family trip of it? I have to confirm by Jan 1, so I'm trying to figure out the logistics and whether it's workable.

    Will you be in CT over the holidays? We'll be there Xmas week (Saturday to Saturday, if the snow cooperates). I have my first job nibble in CT, too--New London. Hope all's well with you and your beautiful blended family.
