Not surprisingly, I love to read--first choice among hobbies on almost any list. As they were growing up, my two daughters provided a great excuse to read children's and Young Adult literature--I even had the chance to teach both classes at the college level. Currently, I tend to grab mysteries for quick reads; another favorite genre is fantasy--and my older daughter is writing novels that will be recognized as great additions to post-modern fantasy (similar to Jasper Fforde's work). I have had ideas *for years* for a children's series, and for a work of historical fiction--but I'm not sure I have the discipline (or time) to sit down to try to WRITE--so I'll keep on reading for now :-D « less
