I like books! I am hoping this will get me to read them again for my own pleasure, because I stopped for several years - not due to distaste or apathy, but rather to an incident involving Lord of the Rings and no less than three school assignments that I not only did not do, but that I had no idea had ever been assigned.

I like books! I am hoping this will get me to read them again for my own pleasure, because I stopped for several years - not due to distaste or apathy, but rather to an incident involving Lord of the Rings and no less than three school assignments that I not only did not do, but that I had no idea had ever been assigned.
Hopefully, especially as I am now in college, I will have less of a problem.
My ratings are 75% personal enjoyment/love, 25% quality, especially with 3 stars and up, so please don't come after me yelling that I'm a philistine because I gave Hamlet 3 stars and 7 volumes of mediocre yaoi 5 stars. ♥ (If you come after me about the 'burning hatred' tags, though, especially on Jude the Obscure or Treasure Island, I'll probably just laugh or throw something.)
I cannot get my beautiful Star Wars picture to upload, and it looks completely different on my computer, and this is making me very angry. For the most part, though, I am a very happy person, and enjoy many many books*, mostly so long as they have some semblance of a happy ending.
* - This does not include the Star Wars extended universe, which does not get capital letters. I note this for fear that the picture may be misleading on a book site, and would not want anyone to form any unfortunate conclusions.
