Let me know how you like A Reliable Wife. I have been thinking about reading it myself.
Again with the lower case I's!!!! I REALLY hope you brush up on your grammar and mechanics while at Columbia College- Don't get too excited about the latest Sookie book- remember what I told you. Anyway, the book I just finished (City of Bones) is a very entertaining read- you might like it, you know, since you don't live in "snootland" after all.
Yes- it's a series, and pretty interesting. It's the whole supernatural world thing, so nothing new, but I like the way the story is woven. I'm not sure if it's "high-brow" enough for your tastes though.
Right now, I'm reading City of Bones/Mortal Instruments series. I have two of those, then I think I'll read another Picoult book and The Appeal by Grisham. You'd best enjoy your reading time now Rhonda, once you go off to big time college it'll be welcome to the real world! Hee Hee
Tisk! Tisk! I shall have you know that I am almost finished with book number 1, my goal is to have them all read by the time I go back to school. However, it is hard maintaining interest when I already know the outcomes from the movies. Fear not- I shall make you and Amber proud.
Well, the addiction to the series has gotten way out of hand for me, so I'm "backing off" for a few days . . .but, from what I've gathered, Dead and Gone is alot like the others, but has garnered good reviews. I really hope the HBO series sticks more with the plot of the books than with all that other garbage they add. Right now, I'm readiing a non-fiction book by Joan Didion. However, all I can think about is Sookie!!!!! I think I will try her other series, since it seems as if I'm becoming a series junikie!
Read all 8 sookie books- going to get book number 9 this week.
Tweedledee! I see you have added Ella Enchanted! I told you earlier that Levine had written another book. Well, I think she has written several and they are in a series. I dont know how interesting they will be to us because they are for younger readers, but they still might be good. Anyways, enjoy your coffee and watch out for ferrets.
I meant to tell you about this cool new website that a teacher emailed to us- it's www.whatshouldIreadnext.com. You type in the name of a favorite book and it brings up a list of compatible reads. It's really niffty! Check it out
I am so happy to be invited to be your friend! You have some very interesting choices on your shelf- a few that I would love to read- did you enjoy World Without End? From its size it looks more to be a book without end . . .
Hi Tweedledee, I enjoyed looking at your favorites. I must give the Twilight series another try. You've read some of my favorites--like Pride & Prejudice, All the King's Men, All the Pretty Horses. I loved Gone w/ the Wind when I read it in 7th grade. And James Thurber! Tell 'Dum hi for me!
NO i will NOT add it either! That rag of a book will not go on my shelf.
YES! why would someone not add every harry potter book?!?!?!?!
