When not at work full-time in retail or at school for my Elementary Education degree, I spend most of my time either running my book blog, Escape Through the Pages, on Wordpress at http://thekams.wordpress.com, reading, hanging out with friends or watching movies.

My love of books began with young adult and continues with young adult. I... more »

    Hello:
    Dracula: Hearts of Stone
It’s a tale of magic, romance and fangs; a tale of valor. A story of wizards and vampires.
We start with a shiny new pot of boiling water and add too many evil vampires, and not enough of the good biters. Toss in one suicidal Dracula; add a cup of mayhem and a dash of romance. Oh yes, and a pinch of mirth. Stir lovingly and you have a novel by A. J. Gallant. If it sounds like the recipe for you then you must read Dracula: Hearts of Stone.
“I found myself "hearing" the characters in this story. They are well written and I found myself able to leave the normal world behind. I deeply enjoyed the humor and the addition of P. Anthony, that was a touch I did not expect at all. Dracula in this book is seen in a different light, not a true creature of evil at all. I do suggest that you read this book as it is very good and enjoyable.”
    Timothy Haas

The sequel Dracula: Hearts of Fire is now available.
The adventure continues as 12-year-old Jenny goes out in search of herself and to learn the ways of the wizards. Dracula is happier than he has been in centuries but he senses that big trouble is on the horizon.
Lauren has news for Michael but will the vampire be able to handle it. The Siamese cat Moon Diamond continues to struggle with his condition, with yet another twist rearing its ugly head. Piers Anthony is reluctant to battle evil vampires, but Dracula sends him out to fight nonetheless.
A 90-year-old Annie asks Dracula to transform her.
Dracula: Hearts of Fire has more romance, fighting and vampires. There’s plenty of humor to tickle your funny bone.
Readers are the smartest people, with imaginations that soar and hearts that sing. Without them writers may as well be birds without wings.

Isn't John Barrowman incredible? Shelfari pointed out that we are both reading "Anything goes" so I thought I would said "Hi" and "What good taste you have in books!"
