I like this idea of sharing books. Thanks for the invite. Books I've read and liked recently are: Mr Pip, Lullabies for Little Criminals, Cease to Blush, 3 Cups of Tea, The Painted Veil, and Late Nights on Air. A book I lent to a friend a long time ago, has just been returned to me. Although written in 1985, it is very good. The Bone People, by Keri Hulme, set in New Zealand. It has a strong Maori women as the main character. It has some sad parts but it is beautifully written. I liked Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close too. Middlesex and the Book of Negroes are on my to read list.
Thanks for the invitation Nafi but you realise that I am not as computer savvy as you when it comes to finding my way around this web site. I have read Middlesex and am reading Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close at the moment.I plan on reading the Book of Negroes next.
