I have always liked reading. I enjoy nonfiction as well as fiction. Words have always had a special charm for me and just as some people see pictures in their minds, I see words. When someone speaks to me and I hear a word that I am not familiar with, I need to look it up on the internet (of course previously I used a dictionary). Similes, metaphors and all figures of speech are intriguing. A well-written book is a treasure. Finding a book that you don't want to put down-aaah- life is good.
Sharing a book that you found fascinating with others is such a gift. My 3 daughters are voracious readers as well. How fortunate we all to live in a country where the general population all have the opportunity to read, to read whatever we want, and to learn so much from books. « less
