  • The End of the Battle
    • Rated 5 stars

A story of a middle aged Catholic man attempting to find a purpose for his life during WW2. Does sticking to one's code of honor still work in the modern world? Is he a sap or a hero? What is God's plan for Guy? This is the finale book of a trilogy.

James Garfield? Is he the fat guy or the guy who got sick after talking too long? Or is he the one who got shot? Well, it turns out that he was more than a trivia question. Well written, interesting book about one of America's most talented and qualified leader.

A creative and well written story. It's a satire of books about knights. The problem is no one reads books about knights anymore, so I felt like I was missing a lot of the jokes. Long sections of it are tedious and pointless.

  • James Madison

A good bio of Madison. It's only 250 pages, so it's nice that it doesn't go into every detail of his life like some bios. The main takeaway is that Madison was the "Father of American Politics".

Excellent. Explains the history, goals, and effects of feminism over the last forty years and how it has crept into the fabric of our society. Details how most women (and men) who don't consider themselves feminist, still accept the feminist's main tenets as fact, and explains why that is the real problem with much of our society today.

  • Travels With Charley

Ever wanted to travel America with John Steinbeck in 1961? Here's your chance. Like most long road trips, this one starts out fun, exciting, and intriguing and becomes less so as the trip progresses. Travel companions suffer the same fate.

  • Economics in One Lesson
    • Rated 5 stars

If you've ever instinctively known that a politician or goverment official was wrong or misleading you concerning economic policy but you could'nt put a finger on the fallacy, then this book is for you. In other words, everyone should read it.

  • Free Fall of Webster Cummings, The (Odyssey)
    • Rated 3 stars

The characters were enjoyable and seemed like real people, but I started wondering how he was going to bring them all together and what was the point of some of them being in the book. I'd give it 3 1/2 stars overall.
