Hi Amanda, it's taking me a little while. I'm about half way through. I think it's ok so far..kind of slow for my taste. Paranormal time travel. Timeriders had my interest earlier than this book. I will let you know asap. Thanksgiving was very quiet and relaxing."Hugo" the movie was awesome! But for teens 12+ who read the book. It was to complex for little to understand and appreciate.
Yes, I picked the book up for $0.79 at the thrift store. I will try another. Is there one that is absolutely a must?:)
Hi. I saw Wonder Struck today at Target and had no idea it was like his other book Hugo!! Please let me know how it was. I've yet to read Hugo and will do so soon, I want to read it before the movie comes out.
Hi. do you know what happened to the friends photos? I just logged on and my groups are showing but not my friends photos. Are you having that problem too.
I had heard that Vordak was funny. Can't wait to read it and then to pass it on to my son. Thanks for the stars!
My son loves the Dragonbreath series. We have yet to buy book #4. Glad you liked it.
How do you find so much time to read? I'm jealous..or maybe lazy.
We went to Borders yesterday for their closing sale. Bought 9 books! Just finished Season of Gifts today. Loved it, love Grandma Dowdel. Hope you have a great weekend.
Yeah!!! Star ratings! Thanks :)
Please let me know how liked The True Meaning of Smekday, if you get a chance.
you recommended another book on audio and I can't find the email. Do you remember what book it was that was a good audiobook. If you remember, pass it back to me please. Thanks!
Hey Amanda. So you like to to use audiobooks? Never thought of it. Do you like it better? I never thought of doing it, what advice can you give me to try it out. Also, do you recommend it for younger readers, like 5th grade? Shoulf my son give it a try? Oh one more important question..do you follow along with a book or not??
I have "The True Meaning of Smekday" on my shelf. I think I will start it too, since I just finished "Mismantle" which I loved by the way! I'm a slow reader, so let me know how you like it when you reach the end.Happy Reading~
I would love to see you give star ratings on your books, this would give me an idea whether I should attempt to read it. You have such a great shelf. What are your thoughts on the star rating?
So you like to read?? lol. I love your shelf and would like to look it over when I have a little more time. Friends?
It was okay. I thought the climax was very anticlimactic, though. The demon who had been tied up for centuries, or however long, sure was defeated easily. I think it's probably a good series for 3rd graders (advanced) and 4th graders. some of the characters, Warren i.e., were obviously included just to have a sequel with "hurry up and remind the reader" details right at the end. I liked the Golem Hugo. I did like the fairies. I did not like the little brother Seth. I liked the former-nyad (sp?) Lena a lot. Some of the scenes were surprisingly scary and intense.
Cool! The new Cushman is very good. Fun (full of insults), poignant, bright and full of life.
Hi Amanda. Great to have you as a friend! I look forward to seeing your books. Happy reading.Betsy
