Unfortunately, she and her new employer can’t seem to get along. Threats from an unknown intruder and her own softening heart both shake Rosemary’s hard-won independence.
In the pages of When the Heart Heals Ann Shorey delivers a beautiful tonic composed of summer herbs, good company, and romance. Hearkening back to a gentler time in America’s history, this story takes the reader on an emotional journey with a likeable heroine. The author’s skill at characterization and beautiful descriptions carry a well-constructed story line to a sigh-worthy conclusion. This is historical romance at its best.
The cover image is appealing and faithful to the book. The writing style is rich and straightforward, not unlike the story world. Scene and chapter breaks are on the shorter side, which facilitates reading.
I highly recommend When the Heart Heals by Ann Shorey to readers who enjoy historical romance.
