“I've read about half of this book, but I probably won't finish it. I dislike the two main characters (actually I dislike all of the characters) and don't think it's worth my time. Nick and Amy are two young writers who fall in love and marry in New York. When they move back to Nick's home town in Missouri, their marriage begins to fall apart. Amy goes missing and Nick becomes the primary suspect. Chapters are narrated alternately by Nick and Amy. I don't anticipate a happy or satisfactory ending.”
