I am a librarian/readers' advisor in Jacksonville, Florida. Reading has always been a passion of mine. I worked in a used bookstore growing up, and Waldenbooks during college. No one is surprised to hear I became a librarian!

I didn't like the heroine, but I was intrigued by the premise and other characters. I will see what happens in future books.

Thank goodness I gave this author another chance! THe plot is so relatable (parents worried about there son, put spyware on his computer), I found myself unable to put the book down. I did figure out one twist, but overall I really enjoyed this read. I want to try the Bolitar series next.

I was unable to put the book down until about half way through - then, my attention wandered. I was able to figure out some of what was happening. So, while it wasn't my favorite book, I definately am interested in trying more titles by Coben.

I absolutely love this series - tense, witty, great characters. This isn't my fav entry in the series since a few turns I predicted. However, I still couldn't put the book down. It's partly a procedural, and the dialog reminds me of Ed McBain's cop banter. The technical aspects and procedural parts make me recommend it for those looking for J D Robb read alikes.

The book lost me about half way in, when they fled to Israel. Suddenly it became more theoretical, and confusing... it lost me and I just wanted to finish the book (not in a good way). Fortunately this was not the first book by Iles that I have read. I loved The Quiet Game; otherwise, I wouldn't read him again based on this novel.

Another winner by Howard - excellent. Several laugh out loud scenes, some suspense, romance.... watch for the "notes" scence - it's hilarieous!, lol! 1st person.

I have been a big fan of this series, but like with all long series I am beginning to lose interest. I think the book connects some events from previous books, but it has too long since reading the series so I can't remember the details. It was a quick read, and Liu is always reliable. The author did give us some new info on the beginning of D&S, which was interesting. Overall an ok read. I felt like I missed Lannes' brother story, so I will see if it's told in a anthology.

Good book with a heroine I could relate to. I don't see another book in what I thought was a new series, however. I felt it was more romance, than action.

I really enjoyed this book, and I'm looking forward to more books in the series. Unfortunately, the library's copy is checked out so i have to wait. It made me think of Laurel Hamilton's early Anita Blake, although I would say the romance storyline is more... well, romantic and less gory detailing.
