Hi, Sam. I am the author of The Sandal Maker, a new novel about the public ministry of Jesus. A book that will take you on a fascinating journey of how the gospel came to be. You can read the first chapter by going to scribd.com and searching for the title. Let me know what you think.

I have to admit that part of me is still very angry at what happened to me. To have a psychiatrist accept the offer of money ("Surviving High Society") to keep me hospitalized forever still makes my stomach turn. The fact that I will die of kidney disease due to his specific actions makes me even madder.

On the other hand, I am delighted that I have survived much longer than expected, and it made me feel better to send him a copy of the book.......haven't got it back in the mail yet!

    Sam,

I cannot imagine how Elizabeth Edwards feels having been betrayed and dying at the same time! How does she keep it together?

Although the anger I felt at the abuse I endured had subsided by the time I got to writing the book, I discovered, joyfully that I could write and write fairly easily. As they say, one door closes, another opens.
