Oh I know what you mean. I can't read Mary Higgins Clark books when there are kids involved. It has gotten worse since I have so many grandkids now too. Stephen King's It was awful. I lasted about 5 minutes.

I used to be a member of recorded books for a monthly fee. The selction was great but the service was lousy. The disks were frequently scratched or very dirty and replacements took forever. So I joined booksfree.com and found them to be much better customer servicewise but their selection was smaller. Now I use pirmarily overdrive for audio and ebooks but I do use gutenburg as well. Once in a while I get cds or playaway from the library but their selction is very small.

I read Preston and child somewhat out of order but there is a trilogy in the middle that needs to be in roder to understand... Pendergast is dead...pendergast is alive could get confusing. The rest I read whenever I found them. Still Life with Crows was my favorite read by the actor who played Odo on Deep Space Nine.

I loved The Wheel of Darkness...and wait till you read the next one!!

I have The Codex on my bedside stand and will probably be starting it in about an hour. I am losing my vision so some days I can't really see the print but I can't find this one in audio.

Did you read InterWorld by Neil Gaiman? I started it and gave up. But I am wondering if I should try it again.

Yeah - there is a male love interest, and an ex-husband, as well - but Seeley, as he exists on the show, nope.

The daughter is a grown up so it's less jarring than you might think. :)

Hope you enjoyed the premiere; taping it in the later time slot, since it's now Hockey season!

You are very welcome. I hope its a glorious day in KY. It's actually sunny here. Nice break in the winter. Bruce is on a USA show called "Burn Notice." Other than that I'm not sure. I'm told he lives up here, he probably said it in his book, but I borrowed that book so I can't go back and double check. Anyway, he lives in a converted 747 last I heard. What a crack up.

Hey, those Nights Out at the library can be life-savers. When my daughter was little I remember racing around with her in a stroller to gather all the books I wanted before she got fussy (and when she was older, before she got bored -- she didn't discover a love for books until middle school).

Let me know how you like the Chevalier book. I've read a few of hers and enjoyed them, although they're probably not for everyone. And "Eats, Shoots...." is fantastic -- enjoy!

Yes, I saw "The Last Legion" sometime last year and enjoyed it. It's an interesting twist on the Arthurian legends (and it was nice to see Colin Firth in a well-told story, for a change -- he has made some really bizarre choices in the last few years).

What are you reading right now?

Hi there! Yes, we do have quite a few books in common, and I'd be happy to be friends. It's always nice to meet another "Mists of Avalon" fan. Have you seen the film version, as well?
