"I know that I know nothing" - Socrates
I am 17 years old and I began reading in May 2007. The first novel I read was Thr3e by Ted Dekker, and still remains one of my all-time favorites, and it is the one that toned my love for books. I enjoy the authors Ted Dekker, Harlan Coben, Dean Koontz, John Grisham, James Patterson, Steven James, Stephen King, and many others. I try to stay away from non-fiction due to my short attention span, but Mystery/Thriller's can keep me engaged for hours.
One day, hopefully sooner than later, I would like to become an author. I have started writing a novel that I hope to be done with some time next year. I still have a lot to learn, yes, but I think it is pretty good for a kid my age. Regardless, I refuse to give up, and will continue to write.
When I am not writing or reading, I am watching T.V., Movies, playing my guitar, you know, all the normal kid stuff lol. Golfing has recently piqued my interest, and i play about every weekend. It is very relaxing, and when you are out there in the sunlight, trees fluttering in the breeze around you, there is nothing quite like it. Especially after I get mad and throw my clubs halfway down the fairway. I enjoy most sports, even tennis lol. I love mystery, and my favorite shows are House, The Mentalist, Numb3rs, Fringe, CSI, and so on. I can pretty much watch any movie and be happy, unless it is like winnie the pooh or something.
As far as music, i like EVERYTHING. I really enjoy rock, The Beatles are my all-time favorite band, as well as trance (dont ask), classical, hip-hop, etc.
That pretty much covers it....
