This was definitely one of the greatest books in the series, maybe even the best next to the first book. I loved all the suspense in this one. I highly recommend you read this series if you have not done so yet. You will fly through all the books.

I really liked this one, especially since it focused so much on Eric. There was very little said about Bill, and I was actually sort of missing him in this book. But back to the story. All the action and mystery in this one was awesome. Sookie's missing brother and the whole ordeal with the witches held my attention more than any of the other story lines in the other books. I also liked that you were introduced to more supernatural beings like fairies, witches, and even more weres. If you're big on paranormal books, I highly recommend that you start reading this series. You'll be sure to love it.

I really liked this one, probably simply because there's much more Eric in this book. It was sort of sad with the whole situation with Bill. I really don't know why he did what he did, and I feel bad for Sookie because their relationship is over.

This one was alright, but compared to the first book, it was very strange. I can understand why so many people tell me that this is their least favorite book out of the series. A lot of the things that happened in this book just didn't seem like they fit, and it was a little strange to me that the whole book didn't take place in Dallas. It is called "Living Dead in Dallas" after all. But despite all this, I still want to read the next book to see what happens.

This was a really good book. It's about a waitress named Sookie Stackhouse who has an ability to read minds. In her world, vampires have recently come out of hiding and have revealed their existence after the creation of synthetic blood. She meets her first vampire, Bill Compton, and they start dating. But there have been murders going on in Sookie's town, and many people are starting to believe that it may be Bill who's the culprit. Sookie might be in more danger than she knows.

I loved the mystery and romance aspects of this book, and I also really liked all the characters. Sookie is an adorable southern gal, and Bill is just awesome. I also can't wait to hear more about Eric in upcoming books.

I've liked all the Shakespeare plays that I've read so far, but not this one. It just seemed sort of pointless over all. I know you have the whole vengeance storyline where Hamlet has to kill his uncle, but I felt that Shakespeare should have given it a break with all the long speeches to get to the end faster. Everything else that was talked about seemed almost unimportant to the storyline, and made the book boring. So, I guess I'd recommend this book just to try and read it, not really for enjoyment. But don't expect something too epic or anything, maybe just the famous "To Be or Not To Be" speech.

This book was even better than the first. It had lots of action and suspense, and I tore right through it. I highly recommend this series. It doesn't get enough recognition like it deserves.

I remember liking this book quite a bit when I read it. Of course that was years ago, so I don't remember all the details. But it's a great book for kids to read.

Once again, Christopher Pike does not disappoint. I loved reading his books growing up, and they really turned me on to adult mystery books.

This one was about a girl named Melanie who gets a lead part in the school play. She's supposed to shoot someone with blanks in the play, so it really looks like she's killing someone. But on opening night, the person getting shot really does get shot, and Melanie has no idea how it happened. She's being blamed for this murder, a crime she didn't commit, and now she wants to get to the bottom of the crime and find out who did it. In her investigating, she'll find out about a past event between all the students involved in the play. And it may be just what she needs to find the murderer.

I highly recommend any Christopher Pike book. They'll always keep you intrigued, and you'll never want to put a book down until you reach the conclusion.

Alright, this second book was considerably better than the first. There was more conflict, and a heck of a lot more action. You also get to hear a lot more from Damon. So after reading this one, I think I would recommend the series. And the show too if you have not seen it yet.

And just a heads up, if you've read the books and never seen the show, or if you've seen the show and have never read the books, they are almost completely different.
