    “Can you say SCANDALOUS...what a THRILLING ride...an ENGAGING and colorful cast of characters...and it's SIMPLY HORRIBLE the way Mrs. Chase just leaves us HANGING...lol...Tamia will make you want to reach in and SMACK her throughout the whole tale...she continuously digs a DEEPER hole at each and every SHOCKING twist and turn...her house of cards DEFINITELY tumbles in the end...and even though this is NOT your typical romance I'm still rooting for Tamia and Brandon to have a HEA (smile)...what can I say I'm a HOPEFUL romantic...DEFINITELY a page turner...and I CAN'T wait to read the sequel!”

    “WOW...what a HIGHLY emotional roller coaster ride...a strong and TOUCHING storyline...I LOVE the way Skylar REFUSES to give up on Alessandro; despite all the walls he throws up to avoid the INTENSE chemistry that they've shared from the first moment they met...Sky is not ONLY what Sandro desires; she is what he NEEDS to help him heal his wounded soul and rebuild his relationship with Nikolas, his son...an engaging yet INTIMATE well-developed cast of characters...and some NOT so SURPRISING twists that still keep me turning the pages to see what will happen with Sandro & Sky...a WORTHWHILE read...and I'm looking forward to the sequel! ”

    “Once again I was CAUGHT UP in the thrill of all the mystery and suspense surrounding the Ramsey & Tesano family...ABSOLUTELY loved it...unfortunately I was NOT as thrilled by the BIZARRE relationship between Sabra and Smoak...BUT I'm still glad they found a way back to each other despite some seriously TROUBLING issues they both NEED to overcome...and OMG talk about a CLIFFHANGER...all I have to say is I hope Ms. Washington doesn't keep us waiting to long for the next installment...all in all I'm still ENJOYING this AMAZING roller coaster ride!”

    “I'm a HUGE fan of Mrs. Ray's work...and I've LOVED absolutely every book I've read of hers thus far...but I MUST say this one was LACKING for me...I didn't connect with the main characters the way I usually do when reading one of her novels...and I REALLY didn't care for Dianne...I so wanted to like her...but in the end I could BARELY tolerate her...on the flip side Alex is the CHARMING knight-in-shining armor...the little things he does for Dianne throughout are quite NOBLE and endearing...but at times I thought he put up with too much of her NONSENSE...however, despite my personal disconnect with this Grayson Friends novel...I'm EAGERLY anticipating the next story in this series. ”

    “Marybeth is a sweetheart and steals the show; she's very FUNNY at times...I LOVE the INFORMATIVE, yet still ENTERTAINING lesson regarding breast cancer Mrs. King-Bey highlights in this story...and Gloria is still a PISTOL...looking forward to seeing which son is up for sale next. ”

    “A DELIGHTFUL treat...I LOVE the whole idea of Mrs. Gloria setting her sons up...and I'm looking forward to getting to know the rest of the Write Clan...now the romance between Latifah and Austin is SWEET and heartwarming; BUT IMHO the dialogue surrounding Austin & Latifah's "issues" is EXTREMELY repetitive...so much so that at times I find Latifah to be a bit annoying...DANG...what's a brother gotta do to prove his love...lol...overall it's a GOOD read...and the full cast (including baby Deshawn) is quite MEMORABLE...I'm looking forward to seeing Houston Write's fall.”

    “A BEAUTIFUL beginning for Al "Turk" Day and Morgan "Ryan" Williams...and an AMAZING ending to this thrilling and HEARTWARMING series...I hope it will lead to break-out series for the Lassiter family, the rest of the Brooks family and those Williams brothers...KUDOS to Iris Bolling for sharing this ENTERTAINING page-turning saga...and I'm EAGERLY anticipating the start of her next series!”
