    In reality Oprah is just a metaphor--a name that might get this subject the attention it deserves. Because when you have a publication like Library Journal listing their 31 Best Books of 2009 http://ow.ly/HDU7 and the "genre" fiction list includes Street Lit --8 books but no category for contemporary African American writers, we are really in trouble.

    Okay thanks for the info....I got my Kimani books today so I have more books to read...so many books so little time...I had to rush my son to the ER on Thursday night and he had to have surgery on Friday morning...but he is doing well and I thank God for it...and thanks for the comment on my picture...

    Hey Sweet n'Sassy, how's it going..I hope you and the family are all well. Everything's going good her in Florida..Loved Captured by Beverly Jenkins..great read..I knew I wouldn't be disappointed..Loved the book discussion with her last week..Just finish reading Westmoreland's Way by Brenda Jackson..a new Westmoreland clan has been born..pretty good book..can of short though, but good..Looking for suggestions for my next book..Any ideas? Happy, happy reading!

    Thanks for the heads up. I'll try to stop by on the 30th. I've read a few of Beverly Jenkins' books. As a matter of fact just earlier today at the book story the sales clerk was trying to get me to get Captured. I told her I was just looking today. Have you read that one yet?

Girl going to school and working is hard I know I have a little part time job for the state and IM thinking its part time what last week I work six days , thats not part time ( smile ) well I just got home from chruch eat dinner IM going to read my paper and then book I will hit you back this week.     Girl, that book is so good I read it, after reading it I got her book somebody pray for me and it was good now I have her book cost of our affairs, haven't read it yet.Yes I told you I have been reading IM also finish with the million dollar demise and its a five star. IM looking to see whats next? IM waiting on the cartel 2 its out on the 26 and I pre-order it I will hit you back when IM finish , let me know what you think about the book. Have a nice weekend.

    Look I heard she was a good romance author but IM not into her but I will get a book and try her the only person that I have read for romances is nicholas sparks and I love him he wrote the notebook .

Its been along time IM sorry I have to keep in touch with you I jus finish The Ideal wife, and now IM reading The million dollar demise its good and push I read that before the picture come out.
