    Hey I just got back into shelfari a few days ago and saw the reccommendation request you sent. Hmmm I didn't know that 1984 was originally titled The Last Man in Europe and it makes sense to go along with that. Perhaps the last man in europe would have made the stroy on the surface seem too dark and forboding tto the society he lived in. Sort of made it seem like there is no hope should this happen. Thats an interesting fact. I'll have to look into it.

    I REALLY liked "Salt" by Mark Kurlansky. However, I have read and loved all his books. I also liked "Sex in History" and "Food in History" by Rheay Tannehill. What about you?

    your very welcome im just glad i could help! i have just recently finished the chornicles of narnia series which were pretty good, and i just finished reading these two vampires novels that i thought i'd give a chance. but other than those books i m not sure if you would be interested in reading them, but will gladly drop a recommendation for you when i have a book in mind! :)
