More exciting news at the Suspense & Thrillers Group…as you might already know that Keith Katsikas, author of “2060: The Newton Prophecies” will be leading a discussion on his book. We don’t have a date set up yet, but will in a couple of weeks.

In the meantime, Amanda Stevens, author of THE DOLLMAKER, has also agreed to lead the discussion for May’s Group Read, which is THE DOLLMAKER. I’m really excited as this is something new and might become a new trend with our group discussions. If you’ve already read the book, come join us. If not, see if you can grab a copy. There’s still time as the discussion won’t begin until the first week of May.

Keith has set up the information about "2060: The Newton Prophecies" on the Susupense & Thrillers Group. Would you let me know when you order your copy? It will give me a guideline as to when we'll all be ready for the group discussion.

    Thanks!!

Yes, I am. I'm not sure though what you mean about being satisfied though. I love Amazon. :) And I spend more money on books than I should...lol!

There are a couple of people having trouble locating a copy of ‘The Dollmaker’ for our April Group Read at S/T Group. Would you mind if we switch around things by having April's Group Read - MONKEEWRENCH by P. J. Tracy, May's Group Read - THE DOLLMAKER by Amanda Stevens, and leave June's Group Read - A WICKED SNOW by Gregg Olsen?

    Let me know. Thanks!

Hi Lillian, my husband read "State of Fear" and liked it. I've had it in my pile for a while and haven't gotten to it yet but he keeps trying to get me to move it up. I do hope to soon. : )

I'd love it! The "Upcoming Reviews" are done with the Amazon.com's widgets. That's how I put the books' links on as well. If you have an account, then the rest should be easy.

Someone told me about that you can click on a person's shelf and look at the bottom left for "books in common". If you click on that, it'll show you what they are. Pretty neat! I'm going to bug all my buddies ...

    Books in common: 10

HI! Thanks for the invitation :) I wish my father was on Shelfari. He probably would love to converse with you ... if you don't mind someone who is more fascinated with the great religions of the world than in practicing any particular one of them.

    Anyway, I'm accepting the invitation.

Hi Lillian. Thanks for the invite. It looks like we enjoy a lot of the same books. I have only listed my books as I read them from the time I started Shelfari so some that I've read aren't there.

I look forward to talking books with you. : )

Thanks for joining the Suspense & Thrillers group! Love having new members. Though it might be on page 4 of the discussions, there is a spot for introductions as well as members who’d like updates, so jump in at any time.

There are several pages of threads in this group. When you have the time, go back over them. See if you can add a comment or two. We’d love to hear what you think.

Each month we have a group read. Those threads are saved for new members joining, in case they’d like to add their input.

We’re beginning our first group read of January 2008. It’s “The Missing” by Chris Mooney. What a great book! If you can get a copy, please join us in the discussion.

We also have other group and buddy reads. If you have read any of these books or decide to in the future, please feel free to comment.

We also have a US book ray that you are welcome to sign up for.

If you have any questions, please let me know!
