(bs"d) Arier, May you be signed and sealed for a year of simcha, bruch and mazel. And, may we be blessed to see Moshiach in our lifetime.

I pray you are continuing on the path of healing. I also wish that your studies come easily.

    Did I forget anything?

Arier, I was not aware (or did I forget?) that you are going in for surgery! I will put you on my mishabarach list. Feel free to contact me any time.

Boy, Bund and Labor Party of Poland; that has got to be obscure. I will check with Randy (he is a librarian ) and very good with obscure literature.

Thank you for the note and the Mazel Tov. Not everyone who serves Klal Yisrael has to be a Rabbi. Teachers of children, and members of the synagogue boards and committees also serve an important need and role.

I agree. What can we do though? Any ideas? I think in some cases we do not risk extinction because they are raised for food. In most cases we can not say we are ruling over them with feeling emotion. I have been thinking a lot about this lately. Contemplating going vegetarian.

Arier, I know what you mean. I have been frantically working on getting my thesis done for my ordination. I am going to be so glad to finish the process and get on with being a rabbi. I was not aware that you were/have been having health issues. Well, you know what they say, It's not the years, its the mileage!

Hi Arier, I think it's the cow. I do understand that we must and have to rule over them but I like that you said we must preserve them wisely. I feel a deep responsibility to them.
You raise or work with horses? What kind? I bet that is very rewarding. They are beautiful animals. I love to ride.

i am agree with you tzvi, personally i am not into that celebration thing so much, since i dont try to associate with it. I noticed on theresponses from Aryel that you still looking for descendents from the 'seers' linage.
Perhaps those documents were erased or destroyed, therefor harder to discover.
I was checking earlier the links out, there are many of it, but the most dont go very far back in the past. One mentions a son and so. More is told about the 'seer' and his life. Not good to dig into that.

    Arier,
See if you can get your hands on "Orthodox Judaism In America - A Biographical Dictionary and Sourcebook" ( see: http://books.google.com/books?id=cgMCSrDxKGAC)
There is a lot of information about the Seer's descendants arrival in the U.S. and their lineage.

I just find the whole ex-communication thing lashon hara and a shandah to our people. I've been spending what time I can trying to trace the Seer's decedents; now I see why you've been having such a hard time!
