I'm a full-time editor and graphic designer and love to read in my free time. I particularly like escapism, which means I tend to read a lot of fantasy literature. I'm always looking for something new and good though... I'm open to suggestions.

I added that Judy Blume book. I'm curious to see if she's as good an adult writer as she is a children's writer.

I remember reading A Wrinkle in Time when I was a kid. I almost re-read it because I thought I remember loving it. Then I read A Ring of Endless Light again because I remembered loving it as a kid and while I still really liked it, it was obviously written for the younger reader and so I didn't enjoy it as much, so therefore I put off A Wrinkle in Time. Was it really young adultish also?

    Hi:
I have published three books on Amazon Kindle, Smashwords, B&N, etc., and would be delighted if you would add one or more of these books to your TBR list. If you could also write a review, that would be super.

The titles and links for the books are as follows:
The Ghost Of A Flea - Murder in the Big Apple
    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003WQBD96
    https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/20838
Quarantine – A sci-fi thriller set in East Africa
    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003ZSHNUO
    https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/21720
The Watcher – An occult horror thriller set in New England
    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0043GX1C6
    https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/24837

Thank you for taking the time to consider my request.
    Have a great day.

Your Naked Empire book review...I don't know if you saw my Stone of Tears review, but I so did not enjoy it. I really liked book one, but after Stone of Tears, I decided I wasn't going to finish the series.

Oh ok so the "Chronicles of Narnia" is just all the books together?

Hey I was wanting to read "The Chronicles of Narnia" but when I did a search for it, it shows "The Magician's Nephew" as being book one? Is this one you read book one or is it all the books together? Or should I read "The Magician's Nephew"? Do you know? I LOVED the movie so I wanted to read the books.

I know, when I picked it up from the library I couldn't believe how long it was. I hope it's not too hard to understand. There are already so many characters in the first chapter I am having to kind of re-read stuff to make sure I have everything straight. I saw there was a movie on Netflix. I am going to watch it after I finish the book.

I just wanted to say thanks for turning me onto this website. I am just about obsessed with it now as I am with Facebook LOL. I am constantly checking to see if my friends have added books. Of course I only have 3 friends right now but oh well hehe. I installed the Shelfari app at Facebook but it really stinks! I linked Shelfari to Facebook and it seemed to work but it doesn't put the shelf on your profile anywhere. Apparently its supposed to because I was reading in the reviews and like 95% of the people said it sucked and didn't work and like 5% said it worked great. I wrote to them but they never responded which is what everyone said there as well. From what I can tell it doesn't put it in your newsfeed either for other people to see, so that stinks because that is what I wanted. So then I proceeded to try out librarything.com to see if that worked because I knew Facebook had an app for that but I really didn't like it. Have you tried it? It was a very busy website...not simple like Shelfari. I am not opposed to busy if things worked right. Their database doesn't seem to be as up to date as Shelfari. I guess its newer or something. I added one book and there wasn't a cover for it so I added one they suggested that they had out to the side and it was all blurry. I gave up after that because I wasn't in the mood and never went back. So anyway, I found an app at Facebook which I can't remember the name now. You use it it said. Vison Bookshelf or something like that. It appears in your news feed which is cool but I have to do double work at Shelfari and then do the same thing there for Facebook. But anyway, after all that rambling I just really wanted to tell you how much I like Shelfari and again thanks! I'm so glad to be reading again. Hate I've been away so long from it.

I remember trying to read "Catcher in the Rye" when I was younger, and I couldn't get over all the cussing. It's one of the few books I never finished.

I have really enjoyed them, each book gets better. The last one, Sunday, should be out in a couple of years. It's like Harry Potter where they get more mature as you go, so you will probably find the first one or two to be a bit childish.

Can we add Atonement by Ian McEwan to our shelf? I just bought it the other day.
