It looks like my letter posted twice. Crazy computer.
Hello! Just stopping by to see how your doing? I just noticed that our playpen is filled with books. I like the picture of your daughter reading. Great idea! It's good to start them young. I did with all my kids. I would take them to library when they were young. They had their card and book bag ready to go. I loved reading with them. It's kind of crazy... but I still have my first library card since I was 7 or 8 yrs. old. I now read to my granddaughter who is 3. I pull out books that were her dad's. It takes me back in time. I would like to take her to storytime. I don't no if she would sit thru it. My girls looked forward to storytime. I think it's because the story-lady would read, then they would color or make a craft and then they would pick out books. How old is your little one? My grandson is 2 and he would rather be watching TV or eating a book. LOL Please keep in touch when you can.Have a great Sunday! Laura
Hi Jessica, Thanks for accepting my invite. You have a lot of great books on your shelf. I am just hoping I can remember all the books I have read. Once in awhile it come back. Please feel free to stop by anytime and also feel free to recommend a book.Blessings, Laura
I see you read "Dirty Little Secrets..." but you didn't rate it. It's on my TBR shelf. What did you think?
Hey Jessica. I am wondering, is The Girls very sad?
I may have to move that one up on my TBR pile! Right now I am reading Garden Spells. Just started it, so don't really have an opinion yet.
Thanks for the invite. I checked out your shelf, and you have a few read, that I have on my shelf to be read. What about Firefly Lane? I have that one to read. What was your opinion on it?
Thanks for the friend add! I'm on here just briefly alot lately as my youngest daughter's birthday approaches and we're busy with that & getting ready for Back To School. But once I have more time, I'm going to check out your shelf!
Well I hope you like Harlan Coben. I thought you had read some of his books, but no matter, it will be another adventure for you.Your daughter is a reader, for sure! Some busy days you probably join her in the playpen, just to get away from it all. ;-) I had sons, who read, but preferred to be out and about. TTYL, Duncan
Hi there!! I see we have several books in common. :)Enjoy your day....
It's still Kristin Hannah. It's about a feral child who comes out of the woods after living for most of her young life with wild animals. The story is basically about the psychologist/psychiatrist who brings her into civilization. I thought it was just wonderful. You have a lot of the same authors on your shelf as I do. Love Elizabeth Berg. I have read everything of hers. What a great author. Glad to hear from you. Mary Mc
I liked FIREFLY LANE also. But I like all of her books. Have you read THE MAGIC HOUR? One of my very favorites.
