Hey I see you are reading Polan's Omnivore's Dilemma. That was the Freshman read for us last year up here at WWU. How are you liking it so far?

Thanks for the recommendations! I've read only two of the books you recommended for me -- I'll be sure to check out the other ones. You HAVE "Shutter Island" with you? I'd like to borrow that one for sure...maybe not at the moment because I am already up to my ears in books (from the library) haha. & the other ones I will definitely check out in time.

I was wondering if you could suggest some good books for me. I don't really like any historical books, unless they are dealing with Korea, & I don't really like any books about war or science fiction books.

I'm more into mystery, horror, comedy, & romance books. Got any good ones you can suggest?

    Thanks V!

Oh, I actually meant to give it 4 stars. But I got frustrated with it near the end.

It's a very interesting book, I read it last year for my English class. I don't really know how to explain it without giving the whole book away. It holds your attention that's for sure. It's kind of like a mystery/drama type book. Or maybe more like an adventure type book.

The main character gets put through all of these "missions" & each one is set for him to meet or deal with a certain individual, whether the person is good or bad....He has goals to accomplish & each mission is sent on a playing card.

caught a couple pre historic sharks, only about 36ft long though so not the biggest fish ive caught. Then some 9-15 inch guys, and ill post a picture but I caught a flounder when doing some salt water fishing that was being eat'n by a crab so it was two birds, one stone.

Your "Mr. V is planning to read" list is a bit intimidating . . . and you have a small child . . . and you're a classroom teacher . . . wow! I'm in awe and feel like a total slacker.

That is impressive, I never told you about the time when I was about 4 months old the USSR asked me to help them with there nuclear program but I had to refuse since I didnt want to deal with such a long run every morning so I settled with the Manhatten Project instead.

and my summer has been going good, havent done much fly fishing due to me losing half of my fly rod and my new one I havent finished yet, but I have been doing a lot of bait fishing and paintball. How was the fishing in montana?
