Oh, and I also read all the Agatha Christies in the 70s, I think during middle school mostly. Recently graduated to reading all the P.D. James!

Yep its a great way to find reads outside of your comfort zone too. Sometimes we all get stuck in a rut in one genre only. This is an excellent way to break free of that. =)

Hi Ken, thanks for being my friend and for stopping by my group! It seems like we have a little in common - what kinds of things do you like to write? I don't do water color but I like to make paper collage. And I don't have cute dachsunds, but I like them! I have cute cats instead (as you can see). And I'm very fond of mysteries and thrillers, whether books or films.

    Hi Ken,
I just wanted to take a moment and welcome you to the Play Book Tag (PBT) group. Should you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask. We also have a thread called Faqs. Please feel free to chime in on discussions. We love to hear new opinions. Keeps the group interesting. For our June Tag we have "Africa" as the topic. So we are reading books about Africa, or set in Africa or by African writers. You can read as little or as much as you wish.
    Happy Reading!!

    Dear Quentin,

I’ve missed your participation at Anglophiles Anonymous. I hope it wasn’t something Mrs. Danvers said. Please do drop in – we’re attempting to determine our Top Ten Favourite British Novels, amongst other vital matters. And feel free to start your own discussion threads if none catch your fancy.

    Yours faithfully,

    Tinky

    Hi Ken,
If you're interested in the flu epidemic of 1918, There's a great nonfiction book about it that is very easy to read. It's called The Great Influenza by JOhn Barry. If you want to read it, I can bring it up when I come to visit the Fisher family.

Hey Ken! I didn't think we'd have a single book in common - but there it is, Jane Eyre! That is literally my favorite book!
