ENJOY YOUR WEEKEND!
It wasn't quite that many, was it? We didn't go to church yesterday! And, Shelby reminded me of more I hadn't added. So, be on the look out!!
My mother-in-law and I are trying to get Shelby to join for herself.
I read what one person who didn't like the wrote about "Wicked," and they really didn't appreciate the "twist". I like twists myself.
I don't know if I could stick with a project for three without a lot of friendly interventions like your friends.
Have I ever asked where you found this group to have a book club with?
Good trilogy! Very good trilogy!! The main character is living two lives-when he is conscience, he's in the present and when he is unconscience (for whatever reason because people are after him in the present) he lives a life in the future!!!
I think that's the only trilogy I've posted, isn't it?
Started "Wicked" on Friday!
Of course scarves will be the gift next year! You have to do it while you're in the mood. We joked with mom for her entire life about an outfit she was making for Al when he was very young, we thought she'd finish it for his first born. Well, that little boy just turned 26 the other day and the material is still in the attic on Belvidere!! Send pictures of your work!!!
We haven't been reading much these days, but we have been busy writing! And we now dates and cities for our Tour for What Doesn't Kill You--which will be released Jan. 6, 2009. Please visit our website: http://deberryandgrant.com/DGTours.html for exact times, locations and for updates. Come and see us if we're in/near your city!
With Desperate Housewives there is still a bit of mystery surrounding certain people and their actions. I still want to have something to discuss with co-workers on Monday. Yes, I am that desperate for adult comraderie!
I put my order in for "Wicked" toady. The audiobook is at a sister library.
How many furry children are you managing? We've had upto at once-two dogs and a cat. That was before the less-furry children arrived.
You probably should not have told me I could find Lorraine Troussaint on other stuff. I think I may have a bit of an unhealthy liking for her!! I also love the guy who does the Allstate commercials and is on "The Unit", but I haven't watched that show yet. I just thought he was the best President on "24" .
I did read Family Tree, it was interesting but predictable. I am stuck on one particular part, but I think I found a way to breakthrough it and bring it all together. Not much longer!!!! Thanks for asking and keeping me on my toes. The first book was selected as one of the books of the month for December on www.rawsistaz.com!
Holly Hunter is the star of "Saving Grace." I love Lorraine Troissant, too. I first remebered her from Lifetime's "Any Day Now."
I got into "Desperate Housewives" when I was training to drive for Greyhound. My roommate was watching one of those episodes to catch you up and I found myself trying to keep up every week. Now Shannon (and Shelby (kinda)) watch it as well.
Have you tried 3D puzzles before? Those are interesting!!
Boy, it seems like everybody you hang out with "plays for keeps" at everything-cut-throat "Clue"? Around here we play a game to decide who gets to pick the next game we play together.
Haven't seen "Wicked," but was reminded of it at a Gifted conference I attended last month which made me remember to put it on my want to read list.
