    Hello Joy,
As your self-explanatory name, I wish you a happy, joyful Merry Xmas for you and your family.
    Big hugs,
    Elisabeth

    I 'd like to

    create these days,

    a huge Christmastree

    very special

and I'd put on it instead of gifts

    the names

of all my friends. Those very close to me

and you, Diana so far away. My forever friends and

    you always.

I meet with some every day but you, I miss you

    so so much.

Someone I always remember and I forgot a few from time to time.

The reliable and the absent-minded. Friends of happy times

and other of rough times. Those never again will I hurt

and those that I have been hurt sometimes. Those I got to know deeply

and those that I've just met once and judge by

    appearance.

Those who owed me something and those that I owe them a lot.

The humble friends and the VIP friends.

That's the reason I name all of them, every friend in my whole life

You, who will get this message and they who never get it.

A tree with deep roots because your names will never be unroot out.

A tree which will blossom next year for you all, with happiness, health, love and peace.

I wish I could have gone to you so that I could have shared my hearfelt wishes of hope, generousity,

    cheerfulness,

    warm-hearted thoughts

    of joy for everybody who

    has lost everything.

    MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

Hi Joy! A long time ago you told me to check out the southern vampire books, and I wanted to thank you for that. I've been engrossed in them the last few weeks, and I have one more to go. I've enjoyed them so much. Have you read her "Shakespeare" series? If so, would you reccommend those as well?

Hi Joy, I had to drop by and tell you the cat in your picture is just like my 'Foofa', she was our baby for nineteen years and was having seizures we had to let her go. Our hearts were broken and now my husband is afraid to have more. Are you in England Joy because when I go back to visit my family I see lovely cats in England, all look healthy and fat. I love all animals but cats are special. Drop by 'woman speak' Joy thats where I usually am, just had to comment on your cat as she is a copy of our beautiful Foofa.Oh our youngest son gave her the name Foofa and it suited her, smile she was precious.

We have lots of books in common...about 300. Haven't finished going through your shelf yet. Either you read a lot or you're almost as old as I am! Judy

Joy, old book friend here. Just reviewed your shelves again. We have many, many reads in common as well as some favs, but I don't believe we are reading in the genres at present. Do you have any reading goals? I'm into historical fiction and nonfiction for the most part these days, but I'm always open to a good page-turner from anywhere!

I know that you haven't been on for a while and probably haven't seen my friendship request. I thought I would write you a note anyway because of a book that we have in common. A friend of mine loaned me her copy of "Flashman," which I really enjoyed. I understand that there is a whole series of these books and when my girlfriend finishes the second one, she promised to pass it along! Have you read more than just the first one?

I saw we have a lot of books in common. But then, you have so many books on your shelf, you probably have a lot in common with everyone.
