    Hi Joy,

We have lots of books in common...about 300. Haven't finished going through your shelf yet. Either you read a lot or you're almost as old as I am! Judy

Joy, old book friend here. Just reviewed your shelves again. We have many, many reads in common as well as some favs, but I don't believe we are reading in the genres at present. Do you have any reading goals? I'm into historical fiction and nonfiction for the most part these days, but I'm always open to a good page-turner from anywhere!

I was just wondering. It says something about plugging books on your page? What does that mean?

I know that you haven't been on for a while and probably haven't seen my friendship request. I thought I would write you a note anyway because of a book that we have in common. A friend of mine loaned me her copy of "Flashman," which I really enjoyed. I understand that there is a whole series of these books and when my girlfriend finishes the second one, she promised to pass it along! Have you read more than just the first one?

I saw we have a lot of books in common. But then, you have so many books on your shelf, you probably have a lot in common with everyone.

Wow. I've not responded to your note left many moons ago.

Might I suggest something by Thesiger? I really liked his 'A Life of My Choice'.

Care to reciprocate with a suggestion? I'll try and be a bit quicker in my reply! (work life has gone mental - that's my excuse ... ;-) )

    Hi Joy,
I was looking at the picture of your cat; is it a maine coone cat? I used to have one, and she passed away, but I have wanted to get another one ever since. They are such a special breed. anyway, just wondering.
    Thanks,
    Lisa L

Joy - I noticed that you posted For a Few Demons More. How did you like it? I finished it recently, and I am pleased that the series is not getting weirder with time. Laurell Hamilton made me wary of genre novels that get so far out on the edge that you can hardly believe they were all written by the same person. I have pretty much given up on her, so finding new vampire/werewolf/paranormal/etc books is a great treat.
