yeah, Al, it's been a while since I've been here. just updated it a bit with some that I have read recently and some that I read a while back, but really enjoyed. needed to add $6.52 to my amazon order to get super saver shipping, so thought that I'd try that under the overpass one that you read.
Wow, the Screwtape Letters and the God Dillusion at the same time? Heavy! More than I'd expect from someone who reads things like How to Talk to a Liberal. Hope you guys are enjoying a pleasant end of summer!
Hi P-head,Since you like books about evolution and natural history, you should check out "Ghosts of Gondwana" by George Gibbs, which unfortunately is not on shelfari, but should be easy to find at the Uni book shop. It is basically the history of life in NZ and talks about all the iconic animals and other cool stuff. Might give you some interesting insights into this rock we're riding!Hope you guys had a great new year. Lots of alcohol and bbq were consumed up here!K
