thanks for the tip on the new David Stone. I liked both books a lot.

I have a Kindle, too; got it in 07 for Christmas, but it actually came in 08 like in February! I try not to fill mine up because I tend to only read it when I travel and because I love the feel of books in my hand.

I always buy the Micah Dalton books as soon as they come out...I'm glad to find someone else who likes them too!

Hi Avalon, thanks for recommending Shelfari on KB. I am enjoying it very mucy, a great way to keep up with my reading. I am still learning my way around. I notice bookmarks or the little green slips in your books, what is that? Where do you go to read all the instructions for the site? I also notice we like a lot of the same books.

    Have a good evening,
    Linda

I have already read Angels and Demons once, but I want to read it again before I see the movie. I tend to forget books shortly after I have read them.

Ooo - I'm glad we have so many books in common - that means I have a built in list of lots of books to look into since I will probably like what you like. Hmmm - Maybe that's how Shelfari is supposed to work :)

You will like Moby Dick, I think. I've read it 5 times in my life and loved it every time, but for different reasons. As my life experiences have given my life depth, so has it give Moby Dick greater meaniing. Enjoy it. Dash For Cover

Thanks for the info on Ira Hayes, I'll look that up too. This Flag of Our Fathers book I got is really good! My son is 12 1/2, I'm going to have him read it after I'm done with it.

    Hi Avalon--

I am really happy that you enjoyed both novels and appreciate your taking the time to write me!

It’s very exciting that so many people have connected with Ridley (and her story), and it means the world to me. Thank you for your part in helping to make the books such a success.

My next novel BLACK OUT will be released in May 2008, so I will definitely keep you posted.

    All the best,
    L
