    Hi Ron
Just wanted to suggest a book to you that I didn't see on your list: "Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds," by Charles Mackay. It is actually old, over 150 years old but still relevant today and an outstanding book. I have picked up a lot of ideas from your shelf. Thanks.

I am more of a George Gilder fan. Gilder is an original thinker whether he is writing on men and women or the free market and technology. Buckley never lived up to his own expectation. As a young man, he wanted he write that one big book. He aspired to writing a modern version of The Revolt of the Masses by Ortega y Gasset. By his own admission, he did not have the time or discipline to reach that goal.

I enjoyed browsing some of the books you have, we only have 4 books in common (my taste is very eclectic), but i had an interesting time reading some of your reviews, i'll try to find one book you had "True Professionalism"...yes, shame on me :-).

As a new addict to Shelfari it's fun browsing thru libraries, reviews, and mail.( enjoyed yours, peeping tom me ! )
I miss the old dining tables which sat a dozen or more and echoed with cross talk and arguement over books and ideas. The library concept is not so great yet in India. Was thrilled to see the facilities offered in the States. UK, and Australia. Oh well, we have our second hand book shops ( dying out now ) with the owners who squat on the pavement, able to discuss most authors with you.

Hi Ron - great shelf and great effort with the reviews in such a short time! I thought I recognised a fellow consultant by the number of books on a specific topic - service. I'm a New Zealander. I have had a few books published, bad luck with the rejection. Did you try other publishers? Sometimes you have to just keep going. After a recent disability one of my hobbies has been noticing the almost total lack of TQM in the medical system where it probably matters most. :-)

Thanks for the kind words. We're aware of the multiple edition issue. Right now changing covers is limited to other editions of the same book, but that should be fixed soon. As for Amazon import, can you be more specific about the issues you're having?
