My mommy was my role model for reading...she always had a novel in her hand whether at the park, in the car, or at home she always had a book stashed somewhere. I remember my mom reading in bed with a little lamplight on, wearing glasses, and wrapped in her soft, white blanket. I was fascinated by how fast she could read a book and of course, the lil competitor inside me wanted to be a speed reader. But, alas I am doomed to be a third place reader, but that didn't stop me from trying to read as many books as I could. Did I win yet? Ha ha ha!Books...Just Read It! « less
