I'm ashamed that it took me so long to get back to you, even though I was very excited to read that you will be coming to Chicago in September! I got so busy at school (was taking an overload of classes this spring) that I fell behind with all my e-mails, even to my own parents :) Anyway, we should definitely meet up, when you are here!!!
We seem to have a lot of in common professionally! I'm focused on residential treatment of troubled youth - I worked in this field as a child care worker and I would like to get back to it as a therapist, once I have my degree. Or not - if I decided to leave U.S., my counseling degree might not transfer everywhere, but I would be more than happy to be a child care worker again, with even better skills now! I love this work and don't want to do anything else!
It's definitely spring here but not too hot, which is good because I'm not a fan of hot weather :)
so sorry it took me so long to respond to your message! That's the life of a graduate student for you - struggling with time is ever-present!!!
I live close by Chicago and study counseling at Northern Illinois University. I'm not only a student but also a graduate assistant, which means that life really is busy...
I'm glad that you enjoy Europe so much! I have never been to Sicily, only to Northern Italy, but my dad took a yacht trip there last year and has been excited ever since! So it's on my 'to-do once I have the time and money" list :)
How are you doing with the Philip Kerr's novels? I finished a third one!!!
