Hey, just another bibliophile here. I've been addicted to books since I was a kid, and what better way to spend all those long, frigid northern winters than curled up with a great read? Born, raised, and still living in Wisconsin, I'm married to a wonderful man and bringing up our 2 sons.
This is a great site; it helps me stay organized and... more »

Hello, Amy. I’m the author of The Sandal Maker, a new novel about the public ministry of Jesus from a unique point of view, a little controversial at times, but you will see him as never before. It’s a story that will take you on a fascinating journey in first century Galilee. Have you ever wondered what is was like to live in those times? What part did women play in his ministry? Was he the first feminist? Were the miracles real? Why did Judas betray the Master? How does the gospel of Jesus compare to the gospel according to Peter and Paul? This is a “must read” for those on a true spiritual quest. You can read reviews at Amazon.com. I’m including a link to copy and paste. Let me know what you think.

An Otter's Story AND Daughter of the Forest? I like your taste in books;D
I envy you the young child, when it comes to books that is. Children's literature is so much fun. I swore I was going to stay current as my children grew older but only stayed current with what they were reading at each age.

As a relative newcomer to Shelfari, one aspect that I find interesting is noticing how many other people have listed a book. You are the only other person with An Otter's Story on your shelf! I read that book, and two other books of his, over and over. I found A Beaver's Story at a library book sale a few years ago but haven't reread it. I'm almost afraid it won't be as special to me anymore.

    Hey Amy! Cool site.
I've been tearing through a lot of books, traveling so much. Sometimes I don't know what to get next, so this is a great resource.
Say hey to Chucky for me! I owe that guy a phone call pretty bad...

    Later,
    Jon

Hi! I was just reading your review of 'State of Fear'. I am about halfway through the book and I am also looking to read through his list of references. I was wondering if you would like to do this together, to discuss?
