The Passage is a humdinger! I've sorta put Motherless Brooklyn on the back burner since I started reading The Passage. It's one of those books that's really hard to put down...really good character development.

But about Motherless Brooklyn...I've heard they're making a movie out of it. Edward Norton is supposed to direct and star in it and I do hope he's not gonna be Lionel 'cos I really can't see him in that role. But I'm looking forward to seeing it anyways.

I got 'Ask The Dust" on my notepad for books to get (and other stuff to remember)...always looking for something good to read. Thanks for the recommendation!

I am still working on Motherless Brooklyn. I love it but I keep getting distracted. A lot of my spare time these days is spent playing Mafia Wars and other mindless Facebook games..lol. I'll definitely check out Fortress Of Solitude! Another one I've been reading a lot of good things about is The Passage by Justin Cronin (http://www.shelfari.com/books/4392225/The-Passage). I don't generally like vampire books but this has been described as Stephen King's The Stand meets Cormac McCarthy's The Road..great character development..so gotta check that one out. Everything's good here...just been enjoying the pool and the nice warm weather after the horrible winter we had. Yep, that's me chillin under the almond tree on the beach after some Red Stripes. We're already planning our trip back there for next winter!

    Man, those sausages look good!!!

If there is one you could recommend that great. I am interested in this brewing thing so I thought I would dip my toe in the water by reading about it first.
