I have a BA in English from Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA. I hold an MA in English Language and Literature from Claremont Graduate University in Claremont, CA. Between February 2002 and June 2006 I taught English at community colleges and a private university in Southern California, and though I do not currently teach here in Washington, I hope to return to the classroom.

My favorite writers are E. A. Robinson (just ask the people who know me, but only if you are prepared to be frightened), Jorge Luis Borges, Henry, James, Edgar Allan Poe, Charles Dickens, and Umberto Eco. Many more make the list, of course, but that's a good start. « less
